The novel experiment in social news, Newsvine, is rumored to soon have a new name. During the few days preceding and following the public launch, stories about everything concerned with Newsvine and little about real news has been posted by members of the group. Many of the posts complained about what was wrong with the site, the old members, the new members (called noobies, newbies, newbees, pick one), the lack of guilds, what to call and not to call guilds, the need for ego sheets, what goes on an ego sheet, who is a moderator, proper behavior in chat rooms, what to do to punish members who stray from what the posters want.
President Bush complained, "everyone is so busy complaining about the site and what it has and does not have, I have not had a good bashing in a few days."
Osama bin Laden blurted out, " at least Bush was bashed a few days ago...they don't even have the time to talk about me and the trouble I can cause."
Sources say that based on current content, the new name of the site will be NewsWhine.
Would someone with authority get the ship back on course?
